Welcome to the 2009/10 Season

After a very positive finish to last season and consolidation of the basic rules of contact, it's time to move up to the next level! This season we will be introducing new rules, the ability to kick for the first time and the team goes up to twelve players with the introduction of the second row and a full back.

As always we need as much support as possible from the players and we're always looking for new team members, regardless of experience or capability. One of the many aspects of rugby union that makes it special is that there is a position to suit almost any player.

Training and matches takes place every Sunday from 10.00hrs to 12.00hrs at Stow RFC, with some matches being played away to local county clubs. All matches are played on a friendly basis with a very strong emphasis on player development - rather than simply winning at all costs. There are a number of competitive county tournaments throughout the season where the standard of junior rugby is amongst the best in the country.

Stow RFC has excellent facilities and is always striving to improve its offering to players and families. We have several full sized pitches and some smaller training areas along with a large club house with a well stocked bar and excellent kitchen facilities. Hot food and drinks are always available on a Sunday morning!
